We founded Cheek Medispa in 2007, a spa and beauty clinic with a focus on non-surgical anti-ageing treatments and innovative skin care. Through the treatments we provide in the clinic, we noticed how beneficial pure silk products are for the skin and the hair.
We started doing some research and found that there are numerous benefits of using silk over other materials. Unlike cotton, for example, which actually absorbs moisture and dirt and can leave hair dry and brittle and cause skin irritation, silk contains natural proteins and amino acids that allow hair and skin to breathe and retain their natural moisture.
